CETAC Technologies Announces Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 ICP-AES and ICP-MS Training Series

Omaha, NE --- CETAC Technologies announces the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 ICP-AES/ICP-MS continuing education series. The courses have been designed to appeal to personnel with varying backgrounds and to satisfy the continuing education requirements of quality programs. Two course dates have been established: 20-23 October 2008 and 20-23 April 2009.

Topics include lectures on basic atomic spectroscopy and an introduction to both ICP-AES and ICP-MS instruments. Areas such as instrument components, calibration, background corrections, interelement corrections and certain applications will be explored. In addition to classroom instruction, laboratory sessions will provide hands-on experience with ICP-AES and ICP-MS instrumentation.
