DSA-7 Discrete Sampling Accessory for ICP-AES/ICP-MS

CETAC Technologies unveiled a new discrete sampling accessory at the 2008 Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry in Temecula, California.

Coupled to the CETAC ASX-520 Autosampler, the new CETAC DSA-7 Discrete Sampling Accessory can shorten sample run times by 50 percent or more. Using a high-speed inert vacuum pump, the DSA-7 can rapidly load and inject samples, saving time for sample delivery, stabilization and washout. The small DSA-7 footprint allows close placement to the nebulizer/spray chamber assembly. Additional advantages include less sample and rinse solution waste, lower argon consumption, less exposure of the ICP hardware to the sample matrix, and elimination of any cumulative sample memory effects from peristaltic pump tubing. A dedicated software page enables easy method setup with the host ICP/ICP-MS computer.

The DSA-7 Discrete Sampling Accessory is compatible with the CETAC ASX-520, ASX-520HS and ASX-260 Autosamplers and can easily be added to samplers currently in operation.
