CETAC Technologies Introduces HGX-200 Hydride Generation and Cold Vapor System

The CETAC HGX-200 is a specialized system for the generation of volatile hydrides or reduction of mercury to Hg (0). The HGX-200 is designed to readily interface to any ICP-AES or ICP-MS instrument for up to 100 fold improvement in analyte sensitivity, particularly for difficult to measure metalloids such as As and Se.

The HGX-200 features a specialized gas-liquid separator (GLS) clearly labeled tubing and connections, solution mixing blocks and coils, a porous PTFE membrane filter, and a built-in gas-flow meter. These special features are designed to maximize analyte sensitivity and reduce washout time and signal noise.

The small footprint of the HGX-200 allows its convenient placement in the sample tray of the CETAC ASX-520 Autosampler, and the transparent stand enables immediate observation of all solution flows.
