Aspire PFA Nebulizer

Aridus I™ Upgrade Kit from CETAC
A PFA upgrade kit is now available for older Aridus I™ units equipped with the original T1H Micro-concentric Nebulizer and PTFE spray chamber.

The PFA upgrade kit includes (1) Aspire PFA Nebulizer (50 ul/min or 100 uL/min uptake) and (1) PFA spray chamber. The PFA spray chamber is a direct replacement for the PTFE chamber, no additional parts are required. (Please note that the original T1H Nebulizer is not compatible with the new PFA spray chamber.)

The new PFA chamber is designed for operation up to 110° C, offering better vaporization of the sample aerosol. The Aspire PFA Nebulizer is designed to help alleviate nebulizer "vapor lock" and features a replaceable capillary and an adjustable tip for aerosol optimization. The Aspire Nebulizer tip is the standard 6 mm in diameter.

Part numbers for the upgrade kits:

  • Upgrade kit with Aspire-50 PFA Nebulizer: ACN-99-0050K
  • Upgrade kit with Aspire-100 PFA Nebulizer: ACN-99-0100K
  • Please contact CETAC or your CETAC representative for pricing.

Aspire™ PFA Micro-concentric Nebulizer

  • Inert construction
  • Unique adjustable nebulizer tip
  • Replaceable capillary
  • Flow rates of 50, 100, 200 or 400 µL/min

The Aspire PFA Micro-concentric Nebulizer is designed for the introduction of small volume samples (< 1 mL) to an ICP-AES or ICP-MS instrument for trace element analysis. The nebulizer consists of a PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) body and a Teflon® PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) capillary for maximum chemical resistance (including hydrofluoric acid, HF) and low trace element blanks.

The Aspire consists of a unique adjustable outer tip with standard 6mm dimensions and a replaceable capillary. These features allow the user to adjust the nebulizer for the best sample aerosol. The replaceable capillary is also economical, as this would only need changing in case of an irreversible blockage or damage.

The Aspire can be ordered in self-aspiration rates of 50, 100, 200 or 400 micro-liters per minute and is supplied with connection fittings and an instruction sheet.
