The LSX-213, the latest addition to our Laser Ablation lineup, represents a huge leap forward in Laser Ablation system performance. With unmatched power output from the 5ns pulse width 213nm Nd:YAG laser coupled with sample viewing and illumination allow a direct interaction between analyst and analyte.
- Frequency quintupled 213 nm Q-switched Nd:YAG laser
- >4.0 mJ/pulse laser energy (high density-homogenized beam)
- Wide variety of sample cells to accommodate most sample shapes and sizes
- USB or Serial connection
The LSX-213 is the pinnacle of performance and simplicity. The CETAC LSX-213 delivers high intensity 213 nm, 5 nanosecond laser pulses at rates of 1-20 Hz. The homogeneous flat top energy profile of the laser produces aperture spot sizes from 10 to 200 micron while maintaining a constant energy density. The laser output energy is fully adjustable to produce as much, or as little ablation necessary to analyze virtually any solid sample - ideal for geological, forensic industrial and biological samples.
The LSX-213 is built on the proven, stable LSX Laser Ablation platform, giving it an unparalleled degree of ruggedness and tolerance to changing environmental conditions. Since the laser and the optics are thermally and mechanically isolated with no protruding parts, the laser and optical alignment stay put for the lifetime of the system.
Changes for the LSX-213 have resulted in an improved video system with the largest field of view and an extraordinarily bright illumination system for polarized reflected lighting, polarized transmitted lighting or both simultaneously. The built in mass flow controller allows precise control of Helium flow to take advantage of this proven technique for efficient and consistent sample transport into whichever ICP-AES or ICP-MS you choose.
